IEEE CS SYP stands for IEEE Computer Society Students and Young Professionals. It is an initiative under the IEEE Computer Society that focuses on providing opportunities and resources for students and early career professionals in the field of computer science.

The IEEE CS R8 SYP Congress is scheduled from November 28 to December 1, 2024. It will be held at the School of Computing at Coventry University branch in Egypt, The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH).

The event is open to IEEE members, students, young professionals, and industry leaders in computer technologies from Region 8, which covers Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. We expect around 100-150 attendees, including approximately 20 VIPs.

Attendees will benefit from networking opportunities, access to keynote speeches by industry leaders, technical and non-technical workshops, panel discussions, and insights into the latest trends and advancements in AI and other computer technologies.

Yes, the congress will feature various social activities, including a multicultural evening, gala dinner, and sightseeing tour to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
